Switching to MF weapons

I was curious as to whether the MF bonus from my alibaba instantly take effect as soon as I switch weapons or if there is a certain period of time that must elaspe before the bonus from those weapons are taken into account?

As soon as you switch AFAIK.

Switching will work for every monster death after you switch. You could even shoot an arrow, switch to dual ali baba (being a bow barb, that is), watch the arrow hit, and still get the mf bonus from the babas.

It also works with poison damage. Hit one with a poison attack, and quickly switch.
