I read in a guide once (not on this site) that Barbs had a higher natural MF percentage than other characters. Is this true? If so is there a ranking of natural MF %s between the chars?

PM me the link to the guide if you still have it.

The best answer to your question is, and I say this with the intent of humour, wtf is natural mf?

Might be able to dig it up after work but my server at work blocks it. I didn't quite know what was meant by it (it wasn't explained in any other terms than "Barbs have higher natural MF"), but I always assumed it meant that barbs had a certain inherent MF % with no equipment that was higher than the other chars. After digging around on this site it seems unlikely but anything is possible. Figured I'd look to the experts for the actual answer.

Nope - there is no such thing as innate MF. However, Barbs are able to carry the highest amount of %MF out of any class due to their dual-wielding ability.

No, not true. They do have the find item skill, but that is not exactly the same thing.

I hope this is what the original poster meant, otherwise natural mf% goes down as the most moronic D2 rumour I've heard in a while. (Well, sadly, actually only this week, but meh. ).

So as has been said. There is no inherent MF for the different character classes.
