Weapon Switching

My fishy has a +3 RS, +1 SM, and +2 amp wand. I'm wondering if I raise skeletons with the wand equipped will I get the bonus for RS and will they have the SM bonus when I switch to an attacking weapon? Diablo kicked my butt because I couldn't attack him doing 1-4 dmg

Unfortunately, It doesnt work that way.. You ARE able to get the bonuses from your wand, however, when you switch weapons, some skeletons will instantly die :/.
