impossible ring?

so I found this rare ring from baal with the following stats:
+9 to maximum damage
replenish life +9
+90 to mana
25 % poison length reduction

Now here is where I'm confused; the arreat summit says rare rings can only get 3-4 max damage and up to 60 mana. So am I reading something wrong, or is the fact that it's a drop from baal make it super awesome like that. If so, is there a correct list of affixes that a ilvl 99 rare can get somewhere?
Any help would be appreciated.

There's nothing wrong with your ring; it spawned with the Great Wyrm's prefix and the Maiming suffix. I got this information from the Arreat Summit as well:

errrr... I see I did read the great wyrm's wrong, but doesn't the following mean that the mod will only grant 3-4 max damage on a ring?

from the summit "The numbers in Brackets (level)[number] show the range of bonus for that level." Am I reading it wrong ?never mind, just realized it was +9 to minimum damage and not max.

Yeah, you're right there, my bad. Probably another mistake from Arreat's side. It should probably have read something like "Rings(42)[3-4](43)[3-12]".
