Wheres the best place to find an archon plate??

Anywhere there is a lot of monsters, thats the same for any socketable armor. Also try and wear the least possible MF.

Actually it's a pretty high qlvl. You need to run lvl 84 area's and higher. Pits would do I guess but there a dozen more with lvl 84 I think. Check ATMA to find them.

I like to run cows for them because i find cracked/damaged ones there more often than anywhere else. Using the cube recipe El + chipped gem + armor = normal quality armor. Since they started out cracked/damaged they only get 3os from larzuk, It's a great way of getting a 3os ap.

It seems you are confusing base quality levels respectively TCs with ilvls. An archon plate is in TC 84 which appears from area level 80 on. Perhaps L97 as well, I haven't checked ATMY that thoroughly.
