My fire sorc remake or Lighting sorc?

Ok i have a regular crappy fire sorc that i enjoy playing. It is not 200 cast. It doesnt have energy shield. It doesnt have max block. It dies a lot and it dies fast. Normally i have to manage to put 3 fire balls into another fire sorc when they kill me with 1 hit and stuff. My damage is good.

A: So i am deciding 1 of the following:
1: Remake Fire Sorc with Energy Shield
2: Remake Fire Sorc with max Block.
3: Remake Fire Sorc with Energy Shield and Max Block.
4: Make a Lighting Sorc crappy like this fire sorc.
5: Make a Lighting Sorc with Energy Shield
6: Make a Lightning Sorc with Max block.
7: Make a Lighting Sorc with Energy Shield and Max block.

B: And 1 of the following again: (if lightning):
1: Use escutas + spirit
2: Use Infinity (i think thats the 1 with conviction arua + -light resist

C: And 1 of the last following: (skill points) : (for lightning sorc :
<<<Im maxing 100% for sure: Nova, Lightning, Charged Bolt Lightning mastery in addition to:
1: Chain Lightning for lightning synergy
2: Thunderstorm so i can teleport around and deal damage



Help me choose plz for public dueling .

I think you should post your gear to us and see if it is something wrong with your gear first before considering whether or not to remake.

shield: 28 spirit
belt: Arach
gloves: Magefist
boots: Soul Spur
ring1: SoJ
ring2: SoJ
neck: Armegedon Fletch

9x fire

calculations:
cast: 128
fhr: 55
life: 1908 (bc/bo)
mana: 1213 (bc/bo)
FB dmg: 25k (bc)

note:
dont have 5/5 in orb or shako.
cold/light res slightly over 75, fire is 18.

Id go for the fire sorc with es. or es/block fire sorc.

U can spam fireballs alot faster than casting lightning. u shud also swap eschuta's for hoto. the fcr and res cant be beaten and the eschuta's is minimal extra dmg.

If ur going for max block. u need a wistern or woteva its called sheild aswell.

Try swapping your 3/20 Escutah for a wizzardspike socket with a res jewel.
That should give you max res in hell even after anya quest.
Im guessing you will die alot less in pvp now!
Your dmg should still be fine.

a fire sorc needs to be either 200fcr (a no-block build) or 105fcr/max block. i don't see a 105 no-block sorc doing very well.

unless you have some particularly nice charms, i'd avoid ES myself. dump your spare points to Hydra.

i've seen/duelled some very nice 105fcr/max block fire sorcs that use a Guardian Angel armor. 200fcr sorcs tend to die horribly from charging, grief wielding pallys.

That's exactly what I do versus the non-block sorcs, slaughters them.

they are possible to beat, it just isn't easy and 99% of pallys will sorb like whores the minute they see you're a fire sorc.

Ive been dueling quite a bit with my crappy fire sorc, and i noticed there are a very large number of absorbers. If i made a lightning sorc with infinity as main weapon, would people be able to absorb me easily?

this is the one thing that pisses me off. as soon as peeps see "fire sorc", out come the 'spurs + dwarf etc.
"lol, noob, lvl 7 itam > ur char"

yep. this is the downside to pretty much any elemental attack in this game: they can ALL be sorbed, often quite easily.

Thank you everyone for your input! I decided elemental is bad because of absorb so i got to make a new char. I will create a new thread for it since it has nothing to do with fire/light sorc or any sorc.
