MF'ing and Rune Searching

I was reading on the single player thread about players running LK for runes on Hell and going for super chests... this is a rediculously noob question, but how do you reset the map and chests? Do you have to exit the game and restart, go to a different act, or what?

Just enter nightmare difficulty, then exit and enter hell difficulty and your maps will be reset. I think!

You have to switch to a different difficulty and back to hell mode.

No, on bnet you get a different map each time you start a new game.

1 - It's not worth the hassle on bnet because of the always random maps and erratic number of people in the game. And ofcourse the HRs don't have that much value since they're massively duped.

2 - It's definately worth it in single player due to the static map, and that if you're doing this to get a HR, then you're 99% certainly not cheating (because if you were, you'd have the HRs already) and since you can create games as fast as you like, with what players setting you like.

About what chests to open, that depends on your map spawn. If you got both campfires close to the WP and can tele in a quick circle, then I'd open just the superchests and possibly one or two corpses on the way. If not, or if I got bored, I'd open more stuff.

Check the LK superchest thread in the SP forum for all the info you'll ever need on LK runs (that thread is huge, but a very good read).
