View Full Version : Using Charms??
Burn To Burn

I've been playing classic D2 for a while now. Just bought the expansion. Now that I've discovered charms, I can't get enough of them. Thats the problem. I use just about everyone I get, pretty much rendering my inventory useless. Does anybody do this, or do most people just not bother except for a certain few?
Most people don't bother except for high stat ones and skillers, there is no point filling your inventory with 1-2 cold damage small charms.
Ones to keep are
5 all res sc
12 to one resist sc
7 MF sc
5 FHR sc
20 life SC
30+ life GC
1 paladin combat GC
1 barb combat GC
1 poison and bone GC
1 lightning GC
1 Java GC
1 Fire GC
1 traps GC
1 elemental GC
Those are the basic ones, I probably forgot some of the expensive GCs but oh well.
Of course since you are probably low level then any charms are good.
Zon Passive and Necro Summon gcs as well.

isnt +11% highest res to one element on sc?
also add the 100+ poison dmg scs
15life scs are good for lld chars
some 2str scs/5str lcs are nice to keep on mules just in case you find a good piece of gear that your a little weak to use

Unless, of course, you are a Frozen Arrow using amazon, in which case the freeze duration is increased for each charm you carry with any cold damage, however miniscule.

IMHO, any SC's with more than 10 life are worth keeping. They are decent, even though not worth much for selling.

If we're talking pvm, then I try to keep about a 4x4 grid open for picking up items. If we're talking pvp, fill it up with whatever you have. A full inventory of charms will always be better than an empty on when dueling.
