Cham or eld?

I need to socket my storm with either cham or eld.

But I don't know which one I should take.

Eld would save a lot of dex, but cham gives the cbf mod...

So is cbf really needed or not?

What do you think?

put an Eld in it. Being frozen wont stop you from casting. It is nice to have a Chamed storm in stash for dueling druids since you will need to actually run away from druids alot.

i ber-ed mine....-_- (35+8+8 = 51 PDR%)
in any case I use raven if i need block/cbf to save some stat points (still wonder if this was a good idea but meh, i can always switch out ring since i don't need dex except blocking)
cbf is not really needed except druid (also conincidently a duel u need 50% PDR :p), or random sin useing cold dmg to stop u running away!! XD

btw, not to hijack your thread but how much dex will eld save you? unless you are getting any source of pdr from some other gear, ber might be an option (or are u in nl using the belt?)

It's a ladder nec, so I can't use that belt :tongue:

I don't know how much dex it woud save me, at least 14 I think.
So according to you I should have a ber'ed ss & a cham'ed ss.

vs cold sorc you should use 1 raven (unless you can stack like alot fo cr, which is doubtfull for a nec), thats the cbf mod right there,

No, you will make a big mistake for puting an Eld into It. I have two Storms, one with Ber and one with Cham.
A Cham in your Storm will prevent you from being slowed by Hurricane and therefore, with enough FR/W, you can run faster than a Druid can tele-stomp you (no good Nec spams tele when dueling a Windy) and Teeth/Spear the Druid to death. Works very effectively.
