Never mind, I still thought I was in Tristram. It's the old age, you know. You have quite a treasure in this Horad...". Letting the old fool babble, the amazon examined her newly found treasure. The small bow was looking strange, and fit her hand well. Stepping through the blue portal, she soon encountered a pack of vultures. The foul creatures rushed on her, but she focused her power and unleashed a volley of arrows on the nearest ones. The arrows flew surprinsingly quickly, and the very power of the storm was in them. The threatening vultures were torn to pieces quickly, and as she fired another volley at the other creatures, a huge sound was heard. Startled, she nearly lost her grip on her weapon, only to see a huge ball of fire fall from the sky on the remaining creatures. The rain of fire burned the last one of them. With a fierce grin, the amazon went back to town and began to ask herself what she would do with the gold she would get from the sale of her old bow."

It sounds familiar as if I've read it before, but I can't say where it's from off the top of my head.

From a quick google search it looks like it was written by one 'Corwin the Brute'...at least that what it says on the one match I found to that story.

Do any of you guys know if Corwin the Brute writes stories, I think he's better than the diablo writer Richard Knack or something?
