So im making a PVP Charger...

They sound like a bit of fun, dont seem overly expensive and i THINK i have some of the gear they'd require...

Ive considered an ele charger with conviction and gimmershreds or something but im not sure.

Ive been told that a decently equiped dmg based charger can hit averages of 10k plus dmg, with dr this could still one hit most casters right? how woould i fare against barbs or smiters? ive heard the high def makes charge difficult...

now, questions:
a) one hand or two hand? if two hand then im looking to one hit kill with pure dmg or conviction plus gimmers
b) one hand, which is better - pb grief, death eth ba or botd eth ba???
c) two hands, which is better - botd eth thunder maul or an eth death decapitator??

ive been told either way on the last two with the deadly strike on the death...

i guess a few opinions would be welcome, anyone thats done this char before etc
also if you think its a poor idea then say so! but give me reasons!!!

Forget ele damage, just make a normal charger. They can reach absurd amounts of damage, you're looking at 20k+ damage with grief (assuming deadly strike triggers which happens alot with the right gear) and more with a twohander.

Using anything other than grief for 1-handed charge is plain dumb. Death does most average damage in a twohander but botd warpike can deliver more potential damage and that + range 5 tips the scale in favor of botd if you ask me. Depends on what char you're dueling as well of course but overall war pike is more entertaining.

i actually think its a poor idea, not because of you equip or skill placement, but you will be yet another paladin in the duel games, dont we have enough of them?

Ill go Pure damage seeing as i just got him to level 80 and i got grief fort etc on a smiter

i just have most of the gear
im thinking of doing a poison necro as well seeing as thats mostly plus skills and i happen to have found and then made a 'white' bone wand with 3 to bone spear and 2 to poison nova as the mods....
not bad if you ask me (which you didn't, but whatever haha)

i guess its tough to make a different character thats actually viable
i got gear for a kick sin too but i dunno if i can be bothered...
would be fun though

oh and also, i kinda want a decent dueler cause im tired of c*nts in public mf games and baal games that go hostile and kill everyone.
sure leaving fixes it but i also wanna kill em... i figure this will be the easiet way haha

with fort
and guilliames with a 39% ed jewel
and was doing f*uck all damage.......
i think my ed from charge was at about 1600 or so
but still wasnt even 2 hit killing anything! i need to get angelics too.
suggestions? anything wrong with what im doing (apart from building another pally at all haha)
