I looked at the BvC guide. Maybe I misunderstood, but when I tried, I left-click the target with Berserk, quickly switched to Throw, my char is still moving toward the target, rather than standing still... Am I doing anything wrong? Can anyone give a clearer step? Thanks!

That's right, you will still chase towards the target. You have to switch to throw on right click, teleport, regain namelock

Even better! A video!

Ah, that's helps a lot! Thanks!

BTW, if it is on right click, does Unsummon work the same as Throw for tele-berserking? Thanks.

I've personally used unsummon for delay teleport, i don't remember if it works the same. Shouldn't be too hard to test it out.
Try the throw first as suggested in the video then unsummon with the same method

Edit: I just looked at the comments and he posted:
For casters you generally just use everything on right click. If you want to use this for casters you have to use throw lock which is explained in another vid.

Thanks, I think I will give both methods a try =)

Roughly remember that when I have Throw on the left and namelock, after tele and switching to the attack skill, I don't actually attack. Do I need to re-left-click after tele onto the target?

Yes you need to reclick. Why would you want to be standing still anyway? Just keep chainlocking with berserk, running towards them can sometimes prevent you from losing lock if they tele away too.

yeah, you are right.. and it's easier to control =)

One problem I may think of is that if the opponent is a summon necro, it may be hard to namelock just him not his minion?

If you know the sweetspot to aim at, at your feet that is, when you stomp on the minion stacked necro you should be able to zerk namelock them through summons. May take practice learning though.

Another thing you can do vs mass vives/minions if you dont know how to namelock through summons is try howling, will spread all the minions off the necro allowing an easy namelock, then when necro teleports away to restack stomp on them from that lock and you should be able to relock with zerk and pk them.

May be difficult to get a howl in without putting yourself at risk, depends on how good the opponent is. I wouldnt try this vs a good necro player unless they slip up, just zerking through summons is the best bet most of the time, but I have used howl vs medeocre players minion stacking before, and it made for easy locks.

Thanks! :D I guess it is all about proficiency vs. proficiency =) if he tele at 125 fcr, with minion stack, it may be very hard to catch too... How about Leap? Can it achieve the same effect as Howl?

you just teleport around and yell "BERSERK!" at your monitor when you want to attack.

Do you actually yell out "berserk berserk"? seems kinda rediculous. I only go to the extent of doing a loud roar. works for me. neighbors stopped asking questions too.

I always wondered why people called out their attacks on TV.:undecided:

If he has 834783748 fat summons just leap him out of it then namelock zerk, you'll end up on top of him and click his name most of the time if you telezerk right. "aa gmod tmc n00b barb" thx

Berserk has the best sound effect in the game. Adore.
