Yeah.. so im looking to make a new PvPer, so far ive decided i either wanna make:
Smiter
WC Barb
Bower
FC Java
Nova Nec
Summon necro
since im kinda transfering over from PvM, what char is most efficient?

FC java: hack and bm you will be sorb'd and nk after about 5-10 mins.
WC barb: always heard of them but I have never seen one that is not a completely joke with my own eyes.
can nova necs be sorbed?
idc if its hack n bm, the thing i was worried about is sorb xD
i personally never seen a Gg wc barb either

Prolly because FC shouldnt be used nor discussed, if you use it congrats on having to rely on hacks to win. Poison cant be absorbed but it can be shorted with the use of antidote pots, and gear that lowers the duration. Still my vote for some quick pubs.
fc isnt a hack, and anyone who thinks it is needs to get their **** right.

If you want it legit, np. But from the way you've been talking, it is obvious you will do it the modding way.
Battle.net will consider all 3pps,mods,bots which involves diablo two to be illegal.
fc isn't a hack? it's a mod then. still a 3pp i believe.
Fortunately, it seems that you play east ladder. Go ahead and make that zon, I'll be seeing you in pub. ^^

You cant compare the 2 kid...hack/mod/3pp are add ons to make the game easier for people who cant play...sorb is part of the game and it too can be countered. If your gonna complain about sorb, complain about dr% too.

havent seen a fc zon that doesnt get owned in 2 mins after entering the game.
they usually hang around the door and try to nk when that happens.
+1 to Novamancer. Fun build.
FC is BM which is why everyone here is talking about it.
WC Barbs do not do very well in PvP.

Absorb, in whatever amounts, is not a third party program - using third party software is against the TOS/EULA.

FC is in 99.9% cases not legit.
It doesn't matter whether it's a poorly balanced game mechanic, a third party program, or a really dirty tactic. Regardless of what it is, it's bad for the game and encourages bad attitudes. THAT's what matters - the effect it has on the quality of gameplay. Hacks aren't bad because they're against the TOS (how many players even read the TOS?) they're bad because they screw the game up for the vast majority of players.
To suggest that something is okay because it's "a part of the game", then throw dirt at a third party modification is the height of hypocrisy. They both have the same effect, they're both caused by the same motivations, using one makes you no better than someone using the other.
...Offtopic rant aside: if you want cheap efficiency go for the smiter. It's cookie cutter, and you'll lose many mirror matches versus other smiters but it's one of the most popular builds for a reason. Learn to abuse desynch (abuse - that means it's a kind of exploit, doesn't it?) and you'll be able to win fights through sheer surprise factor. Get lucky enough with lifetap, and you'll win melee fights no matter what :)
Expensive efficiency would probably be a summoner if you've got the patience to do the summoning. And the absorb gear+DR+hp+block to tank fire sorcs, windies, and lightning fury.
Expensive funny would definitely be a WC barb with 9-10k life, 105fcr, max DR and block... And absolutely no damage output but who cares 'cuz you're a tank right? :p Actually scrap WC alltogether, just go for open wounds and a widow maker on switch :D (AND MAXED LEAP!!!)

Because people actually consider using a 3pp for a game that isn't even difficult. Are the people too hard? Must be so. :P
From the list, I'll vote poison necro.
WC barb are plain horrible considering it can be blocked.
Summon Necro is just bm and honestly weak.
Bower/Smiter - You can make these too if you like but poison is just overall more fun.

fc can be done with the keyboard shuffle, yes, i'll admit that.
however, in alll my time playing this silly game i have encountered ONE person who did it this way. every other fc'zon uses the hack.
and yes, it's a HACK, get YOUR sheisse together. it's additional code. code that's not included on the game CD. code that requires a java-script parser to run through D2. that fits every definition of Game-Hack i can come up with.

Nobody cares about the ToU, there's plenty of things just as (or more) lame, and noobs using sorb/NKing/juving lose all right to whine about hacks, because those things are just as BM as hacking.

hax is cheating. pure and simple. it's getting the computer to do what you can't.
