Would this be funny?
Char number 1 :
Maxdamage equipped rabies druid.
Char number 2:
95 Poisonres with a big poisonres stack necro, with lower resists and 125fcr teleport. Maybe full with 20life sc's or something.
Tactic: Druid infects necro at the border of town. Necro hostiles all and goes tele around the blood moor infecting people and spamming lower resist.
Other idea is to use a barb for this.

Reminds me of self irradiating a science vessel and running it around drones.
Mystic will understand me on this, fun strat <3
Anyways, this does work just not as well as you hope it would. There have been moments where an infected would teleport on me and spread it onto me.

Very cool idea. Necros would be optimal with decent cast and lower resist.. hm.
I like science vessels too. ^^
I like the idea - just finding someone to do it is the hard part.
Reminds me of catching a guy on fire in Warcraft 2 - sending both into your men and enemies.

Sounds interesting... Anyone willing to test this out? Yes, double SV irradiate = gg drones.

I vaguely recall someone mentioning doing just this (stacking poison resistance and acting as a carrier) to pk baal runs, and apparently it caused utter confusion. So it has been done before. It'd make for some pretty funny videos too I'd bet. ^_^

Are you sure it is the Necro that hostiles or the Druid?

I'm curious on how rabies work..
Let's say there is a sorc, druid, necro in game.
Druid hostiles necro ONLY and infects him with rabies
Necro hostiles sorc, lower resist and teleport ontop of her
Will the sorc become infected despite not being hostiled to druid?
Not that it matters as the druid can just hostile the sorc to solve this but it would be a pretty funny sneak attack =p

No. Rabies will infect druid's enemies only.

would it work for a team? for example have the druid infect you and kill your teammates by getting close to them. this would avoid having to host people and you could then plead ignorance.
"i have no idea what's killing you!! it doesnt affect me...maybe you're laggin or something"
I did this last ladder w/ a friend that had a bva. He thru on Andy's and Treks. My rabies/fury infected him and he just tele'd like a madman all over moor. It took about 10min until a guy showed up and told everyone our evil scheme.
I was shocked at how many people thought my friend just had 1,303,442,865 psn dmg.
I guess they thought it was so much psn that it gave them some new red aura eeesh.
Making a max-damage rabies druid on hardcore could be quite droll. Fifteen seconds after hostiling, you could start killing... 100% legitimately :D
what may be good aswell, is the following: rabies druid + barb with flamebellow bug(making the barb invincible), park the barb outside town(works best with the bridge map), rabies the barb, and anyone who leaves town gets infected.
Had this happen once in a pub, was fun for me being the fury/rabies :)

hahahah, waiting for someone to do that
I think I got inspiration to make townbear build. Is so fun always to see ppl getting angry on them.
Then a friend can give your town bear rabies! :D
(Town bears with pally aura support at the bomb. They still don't kill stuff, but they look funny while doing it.)

No. Rabies will infect druid's enemies only.
so the "carrier" doesn't actually have to hostile anyone? (except the infector ofc)
that could be hella kool.
go into run, host your drood mate, get infected, join the baal party, have druid go hostile in town..... infected party members?
sure, no Lower-Res, but i'd imagine a d-web & facets etc in the druids hands would still kick in......
oh lordy, who wants to try this out on west NL?

I do.....but I don't have a rabies druid :undecided:......however I can put a pair of andys and treks on a charater if that's all the carrier needs
