LLD question

hey Im trying LLD and I had a question about max dmg jewels. I know they can get quite expensive but I'm wondering what u use them on. I use throw javs; do u usually use them on your weapon? or do u just get like a 3os helm?
Wondering if I should use my 17max etc, thx

Javelins cannot be socketed so no need for jewels there.

In the case of a throwbarb (I think I read you had or were making one with some amp dmg war javelins you just scored?), you would use them in your helm and/or armor depending on what your gear setup looked like.

I've only ever seen an effective lvl 18 thrower and iirc, when he showed me his gear, he had three jewels in his helm and one in his armor (twitchthroe).

(edit: btw, if you're making a 30ish lvl thrower, consider harpoons)
