Right now Boner 2.0 is a lv 87 fishymancer. As is normal with most fishies however, I have a TON of skillpoints left to use. I am sitting on 30 right now actually.
So... I was wondering...
I was reading up on the commandomancer guides in the stickie and wonder if I should transition my char into more of a commandomancer. Get a point in some bone skills for the damageshield and then change my gear a bit. My only complaint with the fishy is how retardedly weak he is and how easy it is, when your moving from one location to the next, to get hit by a mob before the skellies catch up to you. I am trying to do quick Hell Pits p8 runs and p3 baal runs right now to work on some nice gear, and it goes real slow if I have to stop and let the skellies catch up every few seconds. So I figured that a transition to a commandomancer may be the best step with my remaining skillpoints in order to make this build a bit less instagib. My resists are about 60fire 35cold and 75lightning in hell btw. I dont really like the skeletal mages, so that is why I have a LOT of pts left. I pretty much just maxed Mastry, Skellies and Corpse Ex. Everything else is 1pt and then +skills.

Anyone done this with success? Or do you guys think it would be a bad idea to spend a few points to get 1 base pt in some bone skills for a damageshield.

Many ways to go, for example 1 point in Bone Armor and max bone wall and rest in prison ..... Use a tele amu or staff for regathering your troops.

It seems that some sort of tele to help gather your skellies would do wonders for your fear about leaving them behind and having to wait. But I will say that I like to have at least a point in BArm and a couple in BWall if nothing else for the little bit of help in keeping you from going into the hit recovery animation.

just get an enigma and then max mages ull do great and youll even be able to telestomp the bosses

And donīt forgot to get some crushing blow, either from merc or from iron golem.
