Upgradeing Claws

If I have fools blade talons with 2 sockets and IAS can I run it through the cube with a Lem, Ko, and Pdiamond twice and get runic talons with the same mods? any chance it will change the modifiers on the claws?

If you up it the mods on the claw wont change just the reqs. to equip it.

You can only upgrade them if they're rare; blue magical ones are stuck as-is.
