PvP Kicksin

I have a weakness for melee builds, and have become interested in a Kicksin. I have looked through all the PvP builds with the name Kicksin in them and notice they all include some sort of hybrid. Can a pure Kicksin (if there is such a thing) be viable in PvP or is it necessary to have some sort of hybrid? Curious on the strength of this build (as well as hybrid forms) in pub duels as I would really like to give it (or at least some sort of version of it) a try.

It can definitely be viable, but I think you will mainly be killing casters.

Kicksin's have a hard time killing other melee units, especially ones with high defense.

As for being interested in melee. Erm, most of the kick damage comes from venom and some open wounds and not the actual kick damage.

I would have to say kickers are mainly 1v1, so I'm not exactly sure how well you will fair in pub duels because you can constantly get jumped.

But a skilled kicker geared well should do fine. You should watch some of wizadept's videos. He is undoubtly the best kicker on east.

Depends what you mean by pure kicksin, all of my melee sins have had wof/mb/shadow just to help with stun.

So Kicksins rely more upon poison damage rather than pure melee? If this is true, then what Sin build relies the most heavily upon straight-up melee damage? Also, I would love some links of that if you have some. :smiley:

Yeah, they don't rely on pure melee damage, mainly venom and some OW.

ER.. a sin that requires heavily on straight-up physical damage would probably be a tiger strike sin. But even with great claws, it doesn't stand a chance against zealots/conc barbs. I think it would also even have issues with fury druids.

a Ghost CAN rely on Pure dmg too, but that will cost you. alot.
