Mid level Merc Armor

Some people's apparant use of the treachery runeword got me thinking about trying to use peace as a mid level merc armor the one mod that really stood out was the CTC Valykire especially going into areas ripe with OKs. Anyone give this a try or have any thoughts.:idea:

i usually whack a Duriels Shell on a mid level merc.

duriel's shell + vampgaze + insight in an exceptional polearm seems to work well for NM

Valkyrie is affected by IM as far as I'm aware - wouldn't buy you much time.

mercs aren't allowed minions so the valk doesn't work

Thanks for the input I did not realize the limitation on no minions for a merc, that would have been totally worthless. I guess the search goes on since I am playing with totally found/bought gear.

Smoke works great. 50all res and some ed. Nef+Lum if im not mistaken.

IIRC thats why we have 1.11B Not A

It would crash the game when it tried to spawn it.

I second (third, fourth, whatever) Duriel's. In fact, I have plenty high level chars who still have one on there Merc. Same thing with Vamp.

Otherwise, Lionheart is solid, as is Duress(although a bit too high maybe level wise) Iron Pelt, or even a Rockfleece. There are several choices.
