I chose to use the hammer build. but now i dont know if I made the right choice. Because people said that concentration does not affect blessed hammer anymore, and its not worth having because of too little damage. Well what I was gonna do is basically put most of my points into blessed hammer, blessed aim, vigor, concentration. Can someone tell me if im wasting my time making a weak character? thanks

i had one more question i am really new to diablo, and i was wondering if auras actually benefit blessed hammer, when they are not selected?

Yes, auras like blessed aim and vigor are synergies to blessed hammer. That means that the aura does not have to be active for your damage to increase.

Hammerdins are by far the most overpowered build right now.
-Concentration works at 50% power for hammers. (must be on)
-Synergies boost skill damage without being used. Only hard points (those you actually click to add) work for synergies.
-no other auras benefit blessed hammer in any way.

I put about 6 skill points into concentration. And my damage of my hammers do not go up anyone know why?

I don't think it shows on the LCS (Short for Lying Character Screen, it has MANY errors in it). Anyway, Concentration boosts hammer damage ever since 1.04-1.05 or so, and is an intended feature by Blizzard. It wasn't nerfed, and won't be nerfed at least until the next patch (which does not seem to be in the near future).

As of now, Hammerdins are the most overpowered characters in the game, delivering 13-15k unblockable, unresistable, solid magic damage. Only ONE SINGLE MONSTER cannot be killed by Blessed Hammer, and that is those Gargantua monsters in Act 3, in temples I think. They are neither "Undead", nor "Demon", but are Magic Immune. Thus, they can't be killed with BH. But that's the only monster type. Ever.

i know why your damage wont go up... you need to have the concentration aura active... so put hammers on left click, and concentration on right click... then look at your damage

The LCS has many things wrong but you won't wrong into most of them in your normal gameplay. It does display hammer damage correctly. The only LCS error I have to run into is the +damage modifier not showing in the char screen. Funny how Blizzard makes a runeword that gives +340-400 damage and then not have it show up...sloppy indeed.

How about the Griffon +damage "working" with traps on LCS, when in reality it doesn't?

I don't play a trapper.
