Meteorb Diablo Killing

I'm new to this build, and well its a ton of fun and its mass killing right up to the bosses.

Andy, and Meph were both pretty easy. Duriel killed me about a ton of times as does Diablo. this is only on nightmare, and I'm wondering did I miss something or is it just because my gear sucks or is it more that I don't know how to kill him. I can't seem to stay out of his ring range and it kills me in 1 or 2 hits.

I'm currently level 62 and wanting to get past Nightmare.

Get your fire (and lightning) resists up to/close to max, static him to 25% while your merc tanks and then orb away. :) It's just a matter of resists.

edit: for all your needs the merc can die after you're done static'ing.

One thing good abt sorceress I believe is that even with crappy gears you still could defeat the bosses with some ease. All u need to do is put ur skill points in the correct skills. As for meteorb, 20 pts in meteor, 20 in fireball, 20 fire mastery, 20 frozen orb and 1 cold mastery when all points are available.

For Diablo's case, get full lightning and fire resistance as much as u can. His red lightning attack is insanely powerful becoz it is a damage per second skill. Getting a mercenary to help u tank could help u avoid his inferno like powers. Like myself being a coward, each time I attack with FO/meteor, I will flee to the narrow sideway where Diablo couldn't follow me. And I will keep repeat it until Diablo dies. Static field can help too if ur damage is low. This method will take time though.

As for Duriel, get a mercenary too. If he can tank long enuf for u, u can drop meteor or FO him too death. If not, u will have to rely on 75% block on ur shield to aviod death. Best way is to just keep teleport and throw ur fo. Get a wand with a lower resist charge as his cold resistance is quite high.

Funny thing is, my Meteorb has the hardest time GETTING to the Big D (killing is easy: Static, chill with FO, spam fireballs). Merc dies from IM all the time, and without a tank and a source of Meditation, I have a pretty hard time in Chaos Sanctuary, especially when there's more than 1-2 players in the game.

There's also another tip that will help a lot. Make sure your that when you open the last seal (preferably one that doesn't spawn a boss), immediately tele to the center, and drop 10 meteors there. When he comes out, he will be eating the flames of 10 meteor, and believe me that hurts, a lot.
