Yet another "which build" thread

Hi there, I've been away from Diablo for at least a year or so.. I've been reading these forums quite a bit for the past two days, but I can't decide between the meteorb and pure blizzard MF sorc. My question is, should I use the meteorb build rather than pure blizzard? Is the meteorb any good to rush people through hell? Note that I don't have any items yet, I'll be basically naked. I found some (hopefully) decent armors for enigma from my "expired" characters, so I'll see if I can get some runes for them. So: which build is better for starting to MF? I don't care about PvP YET. I just want to be able to kill andy, meph, pindle, etc. Thank you :)

Meteorb = more versatile
Blizzy = faster/more powerful against specific targets

... so if you want to bounce around and kill different things, then pick Meteorb. If you want to focus on efficiently running specific targets (and only those targets), pick Blizzard.

(sidenote: for rushing, I think a Meteorb will be slightly better)

For rushing a Meteorb will be better. But I don't think it's such a great idea to build 2 skill trees in your situation.

IMO, A blizz sorc is thé character to start playing with. You can go all out on cold skills, FCR doesn't matter too much, you can put on as much mf gear as you wish while still being able to kill primary targets (andy, meph) and the only worry, cold immunes, has already been cut out for you. It's not part of a blizz sorc's life to deal with them.

I've tried both, starting from scratch with bad gear, and the Blizz sorc is just way more comfortable and flexible IMO. Plus, she has a faster and smoother feel too because skill switching is out of the quesiton.
