Assassin Magic Find Question

Hi i was wondering if all your MF still counts if your Shadow Master gets the last hit? I only ask because despite playing for many years i've noticed quite a decrease in decent drops when i play Assassin with Shadow Master.

It could just be bad luck but it does seem that the extra MF doesn't count when SM gets the last hit.

Also i wonder the same question about using a Valk with a zon although i've not tested that significantly.

Since they're minions I highly doubt it has any effect whatsoever.

I would expect the mf% to apply to your shadow master. The mf% you carry should apply over to your shadow, but your merc will get the mf% you have equipped, and any that they are wearing added together.

Yeah as i thought everyone just expects and assumes the MF will apply to your SM if she gets the last kill but i suppose nobody really knows for sure or can prove otherwise. Just to be on the safe side i de-summon her when any elites are nearly dead and let my merc get the kill. Still getting bugger all drops though! But i suppose it's just all luck at the end of the day.

Magic find is conferred to minions. It is how traps and Summonmancers work. I can't think of any reason why it would be different for Shadows... Unless it has something to do with them having their own gear set... in which case a similar thing may happen with Valks.

Tis probably just luck.
