Grief Zerker vs. PB

I made a new Smiter and am trying to get a Grief Z on him this time. I saw that I needed 55% ias from gear to his maximum smite breakpoint with fanaticism. Where are the most other popular sources to get the rest, besides the 30-40 on the grief itself. Thanks-

It depends what you're using him for. If you're dueling, especially in a league, and want to avoid using Dracs I'd suggest using a pair of Crafted Blood Gloves with 20ias. The extra crushing blow is always helpful, and if you're lucky you'll end up with extra life from the recipe+glove mod. With the 20ias you only need 35 on the Zerker to reach your breakpoint.

If you really want to use Dracs, then one of your only real options is going to be socketing your Helm or using Highlords/Cat's Eye. If you decide to go with an amulet it's really a toss up. Deadly strike doesn't work with Smite, so it's really a toss up between extra dex and frw from Cat's Eye and a skill level with lit res from Highlords. I'd probably go with highlords, but I still think the easiest thing to do is just get a pair of gloves with 20ias on them.

Now, if you're making him to pvm I say just go with the Phase Blade. The one range won't make a difference, and you won't have to worry about IAS.
