I have been looking around the forum for some answers to these questions, but so far I have only found WW and trap and basic attack breakpoints. My questions are:

1) Everyone says that 2FPA attack on bear is impossible, but people still want 3 shaeled GT/RT. Is it 100% IAS needed for 3FPA, or can it be less since the initial math was wrong?

2) If I have a Fool's RT of Quickness, will it need 2 shaels to hit a breakpoint, will 1 do, or is it fine with double Um runes?

3) What level do I have to be to buy Artisan's Runic Talons of Quickness from Anya? Fool's RT of Quickness?

1) Information is from a competing sight named after a the drainage area of the largest river on the planet (if you get my drift):

WIAS - WSM => FPA
051 => 5
070 => 4
126 => 3
172 => 2

3 Shael'ed Runics are required for 3FPA.

2) Short answer - depends on your other claw.
(from memory here) If it is Runic too, you will need an additional 2 IAS to hit the 9 frame trap laying breakpoint. Put 2 Ums in it and a Jewel of Fervour in the helm. This will also hit the 7/3 kick speed with dual runics, or the 9 FPA trap speed with a Feral law and runic.

3) I think the accepted level for shopping is "as high as possible." The mods are available at a much lower level. but at that level you will see many more Blade Talons than Runics. You maximise the chances of getting elite items by being as high a level as possible.

bearsin kicking/trap laying ??:scratch:

exact formula is:

TitanSeal's formula:

FPA = {(256*FramesPerDirection)/[AnimationSpeed*(100 + EIAS + SIAS - WSM)/100]} - 1
AnimationSpeed = [256*NeutralFrames/Delay]
Delay = [256*CharFrames/[(100 + WIAS - WSM)*CharSpeed/100]]

FramesPerDirection = 12
NeutralFrames = 10
CharFrames = 11
CharSpeed = 208

best weapon to reach 4 frames is fury runic + 15 ias on equipment or bos active (70 WIAS - WSM is breakpoint but actually you need that 15 ias on equipment; bos is just overkill)
for 3 frames you need 96 ias on runic claw (jewelers/artisans of quickness 3 shaeled only can provide that)

Fool's RT of Quickness can only reach 4 frames so you better use fury rw

WIAS - WSM => FPA
051 => 5
070 => 4
126 => 3
172 => 2

So a Fool's Blade Talon of Quickness (-10) + (-60 ias from 1 shael) = -70 for 4 FPA?

Well, sure...I'm just thinking that I'm only in Asia for another 3 weeks, so I don't want to waste time getting to 95 or 96 just to shop the claw that I'll be using for the rest of my time here. I'm level 94 now, so it seems like that's a fine level for shopping it.

to vknez, I'm just trying to max my AR, not my OW. As you know, the 20% bonus to AR from Gul in Fury doesn't do much when compared to the 1551 AR from a Fool's mod. I know bearsins are not top-tier PVP, but I have enjoyed playing it on Asia more than all my other characters save my meleesorc. I want to add more AR so it can more easily compete with the barbarians and paladins.

p.s. yes, I know I will still lose most of the time. But at least it won't be without a fight!

So a Fool's Blade Talon of Quickness (-10) + (-60 ias from 1 shael) = -70 for 4 FPA?
You did it backwards, but yes.

It's wIAS - WSM => FPA

wIAS (60) - WSM (-10)

60 - (-10)

positive 70, not negative :P

bearsin kicking/trap laying ??:scratch:

I was assuming it was a general question about claw speeds, not specifically bears.:tongue:
