Hello all,
I just wanted to put a comment out about my experience with my 20-point Smiter. I play Single Player with the Plugy mod (for the extra stash space, runewords, and Uber/Chaos quests), so stumbling across the runes necessary for a Grief PB or something similar is all but impossible.
Anyway, I tested out a
Lawbringer (http://img356.imageshack.us/img356/8806/lawbringerdz0.png) Broadsword out of desperation in the Chaos Sanctuary (Iron Maiden, ugh), and fell in love with it. The Sanctuary Aura provides a fantastic defense in sticky situations, but the Decrepify curse is the real shining star. It breaks the physical immunity and makes Crushing Blow a hundred times more effective.
There is one HUGE difference between Plugy SP-Tristram and B.Net-Tristram, and that's the fact that there are no minions (skeletons and Pit Lords), so maybe it's nowhere near as viable for online as it is offline, but I still wanted to share my experience. Maybe you could still have luck with it. I don't know. Personally, I was destroying the brothers with very little difficulty with my poor-ED HoZ, and only needed 4 or 5 Super Healing potions the entire time.
Also, a sidenote: I have to use Guardian Angel for 90-resists to keep myself alive since I don't have Call to Arms or Draculs.
