What is the best use of Blade Sentry?

I know the skill sucks, lets get that out of the way. If one were to use it, what would be the best method?

It's probably best in tight spaces so that the enemies are forced to get hit by it. Doorways, tight halls, and minions would probably all help in getting the enemies packed tightly enough.

I remember accidently casting one in the maggot lair and thought that worked nicely.

At lower levels it's always nice. You start with a blade sentry and then go into melee.

I did that alot too. Sometimes I would do a similar thing like with poison javelin where i tried to cast it on the diagonal where monsters would possibly walk through it.
