Smiting with Griz Shield?

Is it a good idea to smite with grizwold's shield? i am having problems with my res in hell against sorcs.

yah, a griz shield is fine.

you could also make a Sanctuary shield (Ko+Ko+Mal) in a nice high-res base pally shield for up to 115% res-all.

Even stucking 3 Um runes into Griz shield (=114@) is probably cheaper than to get a sanctuary in a 45@ shield with perfect resist roll (=115@). Though a perfect sanctuary is a better shield overall, don't know how much the nice fbr on Griz helps.

IIRC just using Holy Shield gets your block rate to 2 frames. So FBR has pretty much no use, unless for some reason you're not using holy shield.
