pvp Blizz sorc help plz :)

I really need help with this bliz sorc because it's my first one I've ever made. It is a pvp sorc and I decided to go with the es build, which the guide does not really cover in depth.

My sorc is lvl 81 and these are her stats so far:
1 warmth
1 energy shield
20 telekenesis
20 cold mastery
20 blizzard
20 ice blast
3 glacial spike

55 str
25 dex
100 vit
35 energy
270 unspent stat points

This is the planned equipment setup:
Nightwing
Fathom
Bliz Ormus
Arachs
Spirit(or stormshield?)
Magefists(or frosties?)
Treks
2x soj
+9 es memory staff

I got a few questions.
1) How should I spend my stat points since I use ES? Do I put any into energy?
2) Should I get max block or not? Im really leaning towards using spirit monarch so I don't think I will go max block unless someone can convince me.
3) Should I keep energy shield at 1?
4) Where should I spend the rest of my skillpoints? Bliz synergies or es?

If you are ES, you put lots into energy.. I decide by the percent of ES. Higher the es, more i put into energy. As in.. 1:4 vital:energy when I'm at 90%+

You need 105 fcr so you have to use spirit if you are going to use nightwings/fanthom. Don't really need maxblock though it does help.

I've heard that the absolute minimum ES you should get is 80%.. 85%.

Level 30 ES is 85% I believe.. You should try to get 85% atleast though your damage will be lowered greatly..

I recently made a ES blizz and I was turned off by the huge loss of damage comparing ES blizz to full vital blizz.
If I remember.. my blizzard did 5k or so.. and my full vital did 11k+. You can pretty much see the huge difference.

I can't help you with the ES related questions (as i've never used one - I LOVE my full vita pvp blizzer, enemies don't tho :P) But don't go with full block. Dueling a melee char ? Tele away + Cast blizzard. You shouldn't have to worry too much about being hit if you're constantly on the move.

Fighting a smiter/zealer/charger/melee druid ? Blizz on yourself, or just in front a bit towards the direction he's comming and he shouldn't last too long if you want more of a risk than tele + cast. Add some ice blast casts and now he's gotta worry about more projectiles too. Fighting a ww barb? Blizz on yourself + tele away so he hopefully lands where you were to ww - and ends up in a blizzard.

Blah blah, point is ^^ the beauty of being a caster is that you've got an advantage over someone who A) Doesn't teleport + lacks distance - and B) doesn't tele as quick.

Thanks for the replies. Now I kinda remake this sorc into pure vita all out damage bliz sorc now. I don't know if I can live with the low damage output....I don't know, I guess I'll stick with my current build and see how it turns out and rebuild later.

Daydream - How did your skill layout on your ES bliz sorc compare to mine? Did you have an inventory full of cold skillers? I'm not too sure, but isn't 5k pretty low? Right now my sorc does about 3.4k damage without a fathom and nightwing on and no skillers or sojs.

and it only did 5-6k or so. The fanthom/nightwings were perf with facet too..
