and what about shadow warrior or shadow master?
then eq:

weap: hoto
Armor: enigma

Shield: spirit monarch
rings, sojs or bks?

the thing i need to know most, is which skills i should take up in (lets say i will be lvl 95), and wich helm i should use.

Skills: Max the lightning tree, dump the rest into Fire blast. 1 in BOS, FADe, COs, Mind Blast, and shadow master, and other 1 pt skills..
Equipment: Griffons does not effect traps, since they are considered minions. You may see a damage increase on the character screen, but it is inaccurate.
Hoto/spirit is fine...but if you can find 3-2-2 claws go that route...IMO...hoto/spirit is superior to +3 trap claws, because you ultimately only lose 1 skill point, and get a lot more res and fcr out of it.
Rest of the gear looks fine, swap out griffons for a shako or a really nice rare circlet.
but why into fire blast?, if i use infinity i can kill all monsters, so why use fire blast?
and after maxing lightning tree, and the others (bos, fade, cos. mind blast) iam only lvl 78, what to max after that? (i i dont max fire blast)
but still, griffon gives +10-15% to Lightning Skill Damage
-(15-20)% to Enemy Lightning , and i dont understand why they why they dont effect traps?

Still max fire blast. Broken immunes has 90+ resist, so your traps will do utter crap damage vs them, and fire blast will kill much quicker.
As said above, neither would work, as they are minions (like skeletons).

Also, you can have 5 lightning traps up AND throw fireblast at the same time.

Fire blast is the most underrated, underused skill in a generic trappers arnsenal. My fire blast, with leftover pts in it, does about 5k at level 91. This is pretty tremendous once you factor in the -%res from infinity.
Infinity cannot break all immunities, infact, it will not break a lot, and once you break them, you will still kill rather slowly- this is where fire blast comes in. It is also extremely effective once you have your trap field up, because you can actually aim and control it, I find it especially effective for picking off oblivion knights in chaos.
Griffon's doesn't effect traps because they're counted as minions.

Fire Blast also kills Bone Necs, Sorcs, and Windies quite well. :azn:

Very true, except I haven't had the chance to make a sin with pumped fire blast, since she's CC and points have to go into stuff like clawblock, mind blast and WoF.
But it's effective against people who likes sorbing to the point where lightning doesn't damage them at all.

With even cheap +skill gear, your clawblock should hit right around 60 with minimal points invested in it. Mind Blast only needs 1 point, and im not sure why your choosing WoF on a pure trapper...

Ya, if you can get them to stay still long enough.
I haven't had much success with it in PVP.
