The aura suffers a 1/10 reduction in PvP, but I also heard that it suffers another 1/4 reduction in Hell. Is this true?
edit: Also, does the "Attacker takes Damage of 14" from the Amn Rune work against all attacks or only specific ones, such as physical/melee? Thanks.
'attackers take damage of 14' only works with melee hit that make contact - the charged bolts of amazons don't work, though if the javelin hits, it will work.
Now thorns is useless in pvp. I addition to that 1/10 reduction, you get the 1/6 reduction from your opponent and an other 1/6 addition because you are attacking.
If you opponent does 1000 damage. You will get hit for 166.6. Thorns will transfere 16.66 and then your damage will get a 1/6 penalty so you only do 2.77 damage. Even without the 1/4 hell penalty - that may be there, I don't really know - it still is useless.

Another unrelated question; does the Sorceress' Enchant apply to the Widowmaker's Guided Arrow?
Thanks.

That was a different question, thanks though. My more recent one that was posted above is:

That was a different question, thanks though. My more recent one that was posted above is:Ah. Somehow I missed that. Enchant will apply to any thrown weapon, swung weapon, or shot weapon. Guided arrow is not an exception.

Sorry for the double post, but I am thinking again, and thus I have questions.
1. Does Knockback work in PvP?
2. If I were using Demon Machine or Kuko Shakaku with Enchant, would the double Fire Mastery bonus activate?
3. If I crafted a pair of Hit Power Gloves, which grant Knockback, would they work with arrows?
Thanks.

1. Yes, but it is often considered cheesy or bm.
2. No, because they are ranged weapons. The mastery will increase the damage done at enchant time, but the mastery will not work on your fire damage when you are shooting.
3. Yes.

Thanks, but I am a bit confused by your response to the second question. What I am understanding is this:
When I use Enchant on myself while I'm wielding my bow with Explosive Arrows, I'll get the Fire Mastery bonus. But the Fire Mastery Bonus does not work when I am shooting?

To answer the Widow maker guided arrow and enchant question, its guided arrow. You dont need an attack rating for it...:P. Also i believe there is a reduction that goes along with enchant on shooting weapons but i will have to make sure of this sometime.

I don't care for the attack bonus, it's that I'm using it with a Sorceress, and therefore it is the fire damage that I am looking for. A stream of guided fire-bombs that deal up to 3.5k damage before resistances is an interesting concept to me.

I believe that Enchant works at little effectiveness with bows, plus when you add in the pvp penalty and resistances, the dmg is negligible. I thought about making one with enchant, dragon, and a dream helm but the dmg was too measly plus you shoot quite slow.

I think you have it right. If you klick your mouse with enchant listed you will get your firemastery bonus - included all +skill so prebuff is usefull. When you click to shoot, firemastery won't be applied - so +skill are useless here. Note that the lcs may display your damage wrong.
