Not quite sure I understand leveling on Bnet...

I know the level to do runs at (5-15 Trist, Tombs till 21, Cows till 24, etc.), but I don't understand how to advance to each.

1. I do Trist, but I'm stuck in Act 1, meaning I have to kill Andy before moving onto Tombs? And then to get to Baal, I have to kill Duriel, Meph and Diablo for Act 5?

2. Should I look for games running these bosses?

3. There's skill quests and the Cube along the way, I guess I have to do/should do those quests for the rewards?

4. Once I reach NM and Hell, what is the best way to be rushed to Baal?

I know it's a lot of questions, but I'm sorta confused =/

Correct that you need to take care of the bosses to advance. If you look hard enough through the game list, you can normally find a game that is rushing A1-A5. If not, just take your time and play through with some people...you will exp well this way as well.

You can, but most games with the boss name as a title are normally done pretty quickly. Check the game duration to make sure it hasn't been up for 5 hours or so.

Doing these quests might take a bit longer, but you can exp doing them as well. You don't have to do cube if you get rushed, as the travincal will drop a cube for any player who doesnt have one. Izzy and jade bird and etc are optional but I recommend you do them anyway.

4. Once I reach NM and Hell, what is the best way to be rushed to Baal?

The best way would be to offer your Hellforge as payment. The next best way is to find a rush...and the next best way after that would be to play through with some people if all else fails.

1) i usualy rush myself because i have 2 pc's/cd-keys. if you don't you can try the player matchup forum, theres usualy enough friendly folks around that can give you a hand with some of the bosses or you can try and get a rush on bnet but its often very hard to find someone willing to do it for free. and at lvl 15 its not that hard to move on to act 2 and till tombs and then level there until 21 and for cows you only have to be in act 1 so thats not a problem.

2) there aren't many games that run a single boss because most people do full rushes.
3) the cube quest is a must, though you can do all the other quests (skills/stat/imbue etc) after you have leveled since your doing runs you won't need them before that.
4) if you can mule some decent gear to your new character you can play him through NM and hell, if not you should ask a friend or someone else for a rush

Thanks for the responses, but I got a lot more questions...

1. Is the in-game channel chat a good place to look for someone to rush or is it better to get someone off these forums?

2. I vaguely remember the Hellforge... it's in Act 4 and drops an HR, correct? So they take that as payment, meaning they still have to kill Diablo after payment. They could just leave and I'm stuck with killing Diablo, though =/ Does that happen often?

3. For Baal, all I have to do is get to Act 5, no pre-req quests to start rushing him?

4. When I advance to NM, can I always go back to Charsi in Normal to use the Imbue I saved? Do I get a new Imbue each difficulty like skill quests?

1. There are alot of people around here who will rush you for free, just because they are nice. I do them myself but I'm not very fast at it, enjoy doing them though.

2. I'll let someone who knows the drop rates better comment on the rune part, but as I understand, most rushers will get you to Act 5 before getting payment (and should). You do run this risk.

3. I don't know too much about "bug rushes", as I have never done one, so I'm not sure if you can run Hell Baal without that quest.

4. Yeah, you can save them.

well. if u are talking about normal diffculty, most people would do it for free.

as for nightmare and hell i cant do that yet. haha im juz started out only a few days back.

the forge would/might drop runes of high lvl.
this kind of service is rather risky.

The rusher might run away after he is done wih ur forge, leaving u with act4 and 5 undone.
or
The rush-ed charc might juz leave after act 4, leaving the rusher with nothing.

For me, i would juz take the drops from boss. and leave the hellforge alone. Some players do offer their forge too. so.. you have to meet people that are really grateful to you. haha.

In matters of friendliness, and being sure about what you're wondering under question 2, i strongly suggest to try these forums before you try on Bnet.

Hellforge Hell can drop up to Gul.

If you want to do baalruns, you need the ancientsquest before. You can do this at the respective difficulties yourself at level 20, 40 and 60. However, you can obtain the b aalquest by just standing in the game while being level1 and standing in Harrogath, while another person (20+) finishes his baalquest. If you're partied with that person, you obtain the quest too and can proceed to Nightmare/Hell.

How can you get expired accounts back?? I had an account quite a while ago with a 99 sorc I'd kinda like back.

well. juz login ur account as normal. den click on ur characters. PRAY NO-one create a charc the same name as ur expired character. if so, when u click ur charcs, it will say player not found...IF NOT.. haha.woots!! congrats > Ur characters are back. haha. i got back most of my main charcs but still trying to remember my password for my hdin account. haha.. ~ think think .~

haha. i didnt know we can "un-expire" a character until recently i posted about how i miss my sorc too.. and some kind souls in this forum told me I can. hehe . thanks ~ =)
