My barb needs 232 str to wear the sacred armor, so i added enough str points. By saying "enough", I mean the hard str points plus the additional str points from gears. The gears include Anni sc, Torch, boots, gloves, belt, helm. Then, it may be the tricky part: I'm using Ebotd weapon, which provides additional 30 str points. After adding all the above (including the 30 points from the Botd), I get exactly 232 str. Then, I can put the armor on, and it is working. However, someone else in the games says that he could not see my armor on. Is this str bug? If so, how is it triggered?
Yes it's str bugged and it's triggered because you are relying on your charms (Anni and Torch) to wear your base gear which then provide enough str for the rest of your gear.

Thanks! Does it do any harm in any way? I roughly remember that once you die, there might be some problem picking up the body? But I died once and picked up the body with only one click. Everything is re-equipped.

This problem only arises when the item supports itself. Say, you had 126 strength, then put on some temporary 30 strength and end up with 156. Then you can equip a Stormshield. But stormshield has +30 strength in itself, so you can just unequip all the temporary +str and go back to 156. But here's the problem: when you die and then pick up the corpse, your shield won't equip.

Can I conclude that if there is no LOOP in the support chain, it should be ok? The shield supporting itself can be regarded as a self-loop :wink3:

As long as you don't have to remove or switch out any gear in between, you don't have to worry about it.
