Best places for High eth items.

I've done many meph runs and I saw that those two racks in Meph vicinity ( Act 3, one weapon and one armour ) can give high quality eth and non eth items for using with RW.
The second place to look for high quality normal items is in act 5: Halls of Anguish, Halls of Pain and Halls of Vaught. Lots and lots of eth items there.

I've had good luck with 0mf on Hell cows for some good ethereals, socketed and socketables. The chance of items dropping is not as good as Pits or L85 areas, but the sheer number of items is good. Though the chances are small, Hell cows can drop any base item in the game. You may get some good runes, charms and jewels along the way.

Edit: the chance for armo87 and weap87 is pretty low for cows, much lower than weap84 and arm84. So they are not dropping at a great rate but they can drop there. I've had good luck over the years with drops there, particularly since you can focus on pure killing speed and not worry about resists or MF. Other people are pretty sick of cows, though, and I can understand that after the years of 1.09 mooing...
