Best Necro for MF?

An open-ended question, I'm sure, but I'd like to know how much more efficient the summoner/poison hybrid is at dispatching critters compared to a standard Fishy.

OR if a pure poisonmancer would be better.

Act Bosses go down with a bit of CB on a good merc anyway, right?


Also, what are the prerequisites for a Fishy to take on the Ubers?

Summoner necro.

Can still wear decent MF gear and take bosses out pretty quickly.

I have made all of the variants and found that the fishy is the strongest. There are at least a dozen hell viable necro variants, some maybe more fun to play, but none are as strong as the fishy for PvM.

Summoner Necro or Fishy is probably the best necro for MF. you can still stack on good MF and not sacrifice killing speed. Killing speed > MF but both is always good ;)

as for Fishy taking on Ubers .. stack resists on yourself and your merc, and have a source of teleport (enigma hopefully). CB on your merc and revive lots of urdars for a fast torch :smiley:
