Switching from classic to expansion.

If you switch from classic to expansion, and switch your characters too (bnet), will your characters be on ladder or non-ladder? (my classic bnet chars say they are on classic ladder)

your chars will go to exp ladder

but they will be way under geared and weak, its best to rebuild them with ladder gear

you can put their gear on mules and xfer it to the new chars when they are ready

Do you mean the will be weaker stat and point wise or that they will just have bad gear?

possibly both

your stat points will probably not be correct for more suitable builds with ladder gear, and your classic forge quest didnt drop a rune (ladder currency)
