the "lightning on ATTACK"..is that the same as on striking or struck? or is attack on something completely different? would it work with any sort of attack or just melee?

On attack means every time you click the mouse button in order to attack - and things like strafe, zeal and fury should give you additional casts.
I don't think it works with spell.

Anyway, how ever it works, lvl 5 chain lighting is useless anyway. There are but few usefull things that can trigger. Most of them are curses, or enchantment things - like fade, venom, enchant...

That rings is quite useless. Things people often want in rings are dual leech, str or dex, res and life. You have some of those, though not in high quantity and no enough together.
Use it untill you find a better leech ring, though don't see this as your end game ring. You can find better rings easy.

Life leech and AR, if your melee char has mana leech anywhere else, it's a solid choice. If you are playing single player untwinked this is easily end game gear.

Not bad, but for me it's Charsi food (low resistances, low mana, average LL, AR easily beaten by the Angelic combo or Raven Frost...) :grin:
