On the Tomb Reaver and Faith Bows, it says there is a 10% chance to Reanimate as Returned. I'm assuming that this works in your favor, but I still have a couple questions before I drop any e-wealth on these.

1.) Do they follow you around or just wander aimlessly until they die?

2.) Can a merc using Tomb Reaver or Faith reanimate these monsters? I know there's a problem with Merc's using the Valk on the Peace runeword, so I figured there might be something here as well.

3.) Do these work like Necro Revives? Do they stay around for three minutes then croak? Or do they just fight until their HP is depleted?

Only thing of your questions I know about is that Tomb Reaver on merc can reanimate.

They're of the same alignment as act 5 barbs in the foothills/highlands. So they don't follow you.


3.) Do these work like Necro Revives? Do they stay around for three minutes then croak? Or do they just fight until their HP is depleted?
They should last for one minute, or when their hp is reduced to 0 before the timer runs out.

True. While they do not follow you, they do however have a HUGE screen-to-action detection. So on my zon ( at least ) I have a huge following to where it's like they are at my side all the time. There is also a tiny glitch where if you use an Enigma + Valk you can sometimes, and not so rarely, teleport WITH your new reanimations in tow. This does not happen ALL the time, but it does happen often enough to be usefull in tight spots.

(I just use enigma for fun runs every now and then)

2. Mercs can reaanimate them. (I have a merc with Tombreaver)
