Random Sorc Build question

Well I have long been thinking what happens when you use a sorc with

100+ %dmg goes to mana, Energy Shield and enough static to make es take 0.75 of dmg?

Technicly this would make a invinsible sorc. But does it give any help and with this combo can you add some good dmg to the sorc?

I believe that once you run out of mana you still die. I dunno if it works or not but i'm too lazy to find out :)

ES comes before the % to mana (which also, only comes from life, not overall damage)

So, you have 90% ES, and get hit for 100 damage... you loose 90 from mana and 10 from life, which means you need 900% damage to mana to return the 90 mana that you lost... In other words, it isn't feasible.
