Socket Color Question

Found a nice bone helm (10fhr 19 life 28cr 30lr 3 energy) and it seems like many people like the mods but not the fact that its white. Would putting a pruby in it make it red?

Also can someone lay out the gear for a pvm grim scythe using barb build.

As for the helm no only 31life+ on it without socket will make it white.

pvm grim scythe barb is basically the same as a martel barb IMO, but you cant put as much into strenght, because you also put a lot in dex - so you probably wont wear an ornate

I know what you meant, but what you meant isn't what you typed. :)

native life over 30 for red color competing with the following.

brown is typically the color for a high ED grim/bhelm

yellow is created by a high "+light radius" but I honestly don't recall the exact amount.

e.g. this one: http://www.ninefrozentoes.net/jsp/Screenshot053.jpg is just shy of red based on the lack of life. and no it's not enough light radius to be yellow. :(

purple/green/blue helms are normal, non-rare/magical helms that have had gems put in them, or are old dupes that had high mana+dtm if I recall correctly.

a winged helm with three pskulls makes for a neat black hat...
