View Full Version : That flashy shield
Almost every paladin I see seems to have an invisible shield with a flashy lit-up rim. What shield is that?
 That's a skill for paladins "Holy Shield" which increases defence and %Chance to block AFAIK.
Every shield will look like that when the skill is in Use
Ah. So I guess my chances of trading for that shield are pretty low. :)

Haha :D you remember me when i was trading for that :D. I thought any +2 pala skill shield will get you that look :D
seems on east, that any chance of trading for a godly din Grim Shield is slim and none on softcore ladder.
:(
my lvl 90 din is seeking an upgrade from his +2 +7 str, 38 priz bone shield, and I've been dangling up to 7 sojs for one for the past 6 weeks (on other sites and on the realm, as well as a long time ago in the trade thread here)
:( :( :(
I doubt there are many shields out there better than yours, and people who have them probably want to keep them.
Then again... 7 SOJs... I might do that trade if I ever found a shield that good.
Is that 38 priz with a diamond socket? If so, then I'd be more surprised about you not finding the shield you want.

yes, there's a pdia in it. there are many shields much better than mine, but yes most folks are being stingy with such shields.
I missed a +2 30/20 priz 3x blue/dtm grim with <200 def for the equivalent of 4 sojs by a matter of days. the guy that had it was showing it off, but didn't mention what he'd accept for it...
found out a couple of days later he sold it for f/g on another site, and then was caught up in some scam accusation and has since quit. *shrug*
