Hello all,
I am still quite new to low level dueling, but my first character has been doing very well, and I really enjoy low level duels as opposed to hlds, so I've decided to make another low lvl dueler.
I have heard ofc that conc barbs, ww barbs, etc, etc, are best @ low lvls, but I am set on making a thrower.. . I just find the idea so satisfying.
This is a work in progress as I still need to find more charms.
I found a balanced axe that is eth, has self-replenish, and increased stack size, also has ar and max damage on it as well @ lvl 14 req.
Question is, whether balanced axes would work, or if that would be a no?
Also whether I can switch the weapons up, ie one balanced axe, one throwing axe, etc... or if it's best to use 2 of the same weapons.
I know that there are high level guides for throwers, but the skill layout for a low lvl would have to be optimized, and I have no idea as to where to put most of his skill points. Double throw increases attk rating, but perhaps putting more into double swing is good to increase dmg output...
I was considering points into leap, throwing mastery, shout, and of course double swing and double throw.
And iron skin (if he will be lvl 18).
A few questions I have (if anyone can answer them):
What type of throwables are optimum? :undecided:
Will he need any ias? and if so, I suppose the amount needed depends on the weapons he'll be using?
I was considering lvl 18, although I can stay lower or go higher, depending.
Has anyone else made a lld thrower that turned out well?
And, does anyone have a sugesstion for skill placement?
I suppose life charms are better suited then stat charms, as was the case for my sorceress.
As he will not have a shield on his throwing side, I am planning on getting as much defense as possible, and he can ofc have a shield on switch if it's needed.
As far as other equipment goes, I am certain angelics will be of great use here, but other then that... well.. haha, not too certain.
Perhaps rare high def armor...
If anyone has any information I would greatly appreciate it, as I don't know much of anything about throwers.
