Just wondering what's the best combination if I were to make a werebear paladin, I can't seem to choose between, using enigma for massive life, or fort for the def and damage, or exile for the massive defense boost/life tap or upped hoz for better block and more points into vita due to less stats invested in dex.. I want this build to pvp decently and be able to pvm also, not exactly sure if I want a powerouse or a real tank yet, but suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Id say Exile and enigma. idk much bout were templers but exile gives resist,Tap,def and such and enigma gives FRW,life, str.
When I built mine, I used Fortitude and Exile.
Since you'll be using Normal Attack, your damage will be pretty low so any supplement is good. As for Exile, Life Tap and defense, of course.

Okay, thanks! The rest of the gear i'm pretty sure about, but just in case, do these look right?
Ber Ber CoA
Grief Pb
Waterwalks/Gores Not too sure, life and dex helps, but would gores be more helpful?
angelics ammy/rings ofcourse, maybe swap a angy ring for a rf
dungos since its like THE melee belt
dracs/double upped blood fists/rends not quite sure here, dracs for the str and open wounds, or are they redundant since im already using exile for tap?
Thanks for the help so far, and justifying the use of items is important for me, so thanks exile :)
I seem to remember that 40%IAS on the Grief PB brings you one frame faster than 39%. You can check this yourself at the Wereform Central. I don't know if off-weapon IAS affects Bear, I know it doesn't affect Wolf.
I would use Gores simply for the damage mods.

Yeah my grief pb is a 40/385 so I'll have sexy ias :]
And from what I hear, both bears/wolves only get ias from weapon.

that is not entirely true, there can be slight variations...but most of them are at rediculous OIAS and SIAS bps.

Well, I'd have to agree with this guy, exile and fort work well with this build. I had one of these pally's at one point. But I don't agree that Exile is ALWAYS the best option for all pally's.

i have a more recent guide that i havent totally finished yet for the weretemplar except it is a different varient. i am glad this build is still in circulation around this forum.
on the note of exile....of course it a wonderful shield. i just get sick of pally's using it. its a shield that is so amazing it has no charecter, espeically when it is so popular that you dont even see hoz around as much as you should. i just think its overrated and overdepended on. it removes part of the fun in the game for me. regardless i still agree that it is a exceptional choice.....how can you possibly resist.
