Hi!

I'm new to this forum so hello all of you.
Does anyone know how to bug an armor? And what do you need for it ?

Sincerely,

Hello :)

Here is the link to the cube recipies
http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/cube.shtml

1 Tal Rune + 1 Thul Rune + 1 Perfect Topaz + Normal Body Armor = Socketed Body Armor of same type
The number of sockets created will vary. The item must be normal and unsocketed. Low-quality items and superior items do not work. The item gets 1-4 sockets, randomly. However, the number of sockets is then restricted by the maximum number of sockets that base item with that ilvl can have. The chance to get X sockets in most armor is 1/4 (I.E: Mage plate has a max of 3 sockets, so it has a 2/4 [1/2] chance to get 3 sockets). The base of 6 was used in the ratios for all the above mentioned areas.

The "bug" is that if you use a plain eth armor , and cube it for the random sockets, the Eth bonus then gets applied again. I happen to have a 3587 Def stone Great Haubek from this recipe. As the sockets can vary it's smart to pick up all eth highish def armor and cube em and hope for the amount of sockets you were looking for.

To bug the armor completely, just annoy it day and night. Trust me - everyone will get bugged of someone is bugging him so much.

Anyway, consider carefully what armors you want to glitch, since not everything is equally precious when glitched.

[EDIT]: Actually, Master Zap, armors that have max 3 sockets, have the chance to get that amount of sockets at 2/3, or 4/6. Since it rolls a random number from 1 to 6, all possible variations will create 3 sockets: 3, 4, 5, 6. That's 4 of 6.

1/2 is for those that have max 4 sockets, to get that max. 4, 5, 6.
