Hi,

i am making a wind druid, the standard pvp build but i will mostly use him in pvm. Eni/hoto etc...

I am now thinking about my merc and i am a bit torn between fire arrow act1 merc with faith or an infinity act 2 merc.

I should be able to kill anything with it in both ways, but which is better?

Thanks in advance for the input

For PvM you could consider using an act2 merc with an ETH reapers toll, since he will help your nado damage and even break some physical immunes for you! :)

Hmm...

good point, and cheap :D

I will try that one, was just hoping one of the more exotic mercs would do really well.

Cheers

If you want to be weird, you can have more or less the same effect with an Act 5 merc using a Lawbringer.

What gear would that one need to reach a respectable attack speed? i think i have a lawbringer Pb laying around somewhere.

Very cool idea to be honest :D

I'm not really sure about Act 5 mercs attack speed, so I can't help you there. I guess you will just have to try and see. ^^

wait does might aura help the physical dmg of nado?

Nope, i don't think it does. Nado isn't melee based.

It's because of the 33% chance to cast level 1 Decrepify curse, if I'm not mistaken that will surely help your tornados damage.

Decrepify: "It cuts the target's speed, damage, and physical resistance by 50%".

Edit: By the way, Tornado is physical dmg.

Might only boost physical melee damage.

Might only boost physical melee damage.

Might boosts bow damage too, so I think it just might (no pun intended) be anything to do with physical. I believe spells like tornado and twister would be exceptions otherwise they'd be too powerful.

Haha, forgot about the bow

Might boost your damage as long as the damage is physical and done by a weapon and not a skill (not skills done by the weapon, for example charge, ww).
