Yes and no. But mostly no.

For pvm you could get by with the slower attack speed in exchange for some physical damage. Though this is never really an issue if you have a merc to deal with fire immunes, with shockwave there's really no way any harm should come to Waheed.

For pvp there's maybe one case in which you could make use of one. Porky has used one on his fireclaws druid vs other shapeshifting druids. This is really only possible as fireclaws druids can make good use of maul/shockwave/ravens to stun, lock, and just generally hamper other druid opponents. Against everything else it's probably going to be useless. While you still have maul and shockwave at your disposal, it's not nearly as good for controlling your opponent when they have uninterruptible attacks (smiters, zealots, barbarians doing their ballerina dance, assassins impersonating said barbarians) and/or you opponent can teleport. Well that and you'll be swinging painfully slower than with a robo phase blade.
