I'm trying to gear up my sorceress for mf'ing runs only pretty much. I plan to do Mephisto only for now but will eventually do andy and ...others. So I'm stuck between two sets of gear and wanted to get some people with experience of having worn one or both sets of gear

Set 1 :

Full Talls set ( Ptopaz in armor/helm )
Rhyme
2x Nagels
Wartravs
Chancies

set 2 :

Tal's Armor / belt / Ammy (Ptopaz armor)
Rhyme
2xNagels
Wartravs
Shako (ptopaz)
Occy ( won't have ist for a while )
Chancies

If there are other gear options, PLEASE feel free to add / tweak gear setups. For instance I was thinking there are better options than Rhyme, but I'm not sure what. Also, I prefer not too have any pure socket Ist gear because I want to keep my killing pace up :).

Thanks and have a good day

what type of sorc do you play? i ask because you're lacking fcr, so i hope you're not relying on spammable spells. also, teleporting around is going to suffer as well.

I had full tals, but switched to a Wealth Mage plate, and also used GoldWrap, and switched to a single IST ali-baba for the kill. ( never did find the other ist for it ). My merc had triple ptopaz armor, a tarn helm:

Set-up #3
Tals Eye/Ali-baba 1 Ist
Ryme/Milibregas
Tals Masks /ptopaz
Tals Ammy
Wealth Mage Plate
Chance/Goldwrap
39% Mf ring, and a perfect Nagel/SOJ.

and I had a few charms too.

A kid showed me the trick of standing low on the map, and trapping Mephisto in the upper, just out of reach, and I could burn him down ( I was also FireWall w/2 Fireskills grand charms ), in a matter of minutes. Almost all the time, he would drop 2 set items, and once, I remember he dropped 5. ( Sigs boots, Clegs gloves, Itrathra's ammy, Civerbs Cudgel, and the first time I had ever seen Rite Of Passage)
