Safest uber team?

So I got a buddy to help me when i get the keys, I just wondered what you think the best(safest) team for killing the ubers is? We'll be doing it with items i've found myself on mephisto runs, so no extreme runewords etch etch hehe. I was think a Fishymancer and a 1pt smite zealot? Or maybe a Vengeance paladin smiting while my buddy attacks with a lightning Javazon? :laugh: It's gonna be some time to since I have to find the keys first(all on my own), without dying.

Edit: Should have specified in the topic that we're two players - no more, no less(my friend doesn't trust anyone online, think they're cheating).

Singer + Smiter

Singer gives BO, so both are at high amounts of life and howls away the summoned monsters and the Smiter does what he does best.



For organs, I´d go Singer + Summoner

The Summoner basically does this solo, but with a lot of extra life and beefed up meat shields.

I don't know if it's the safest team, but me and my mate Tom use his Smiter to take them down while I use IK Barb to Taunt the minions off of him and either WW or Zerk them to death depending what they are immune to! The BO keeps him safe and the Lifetap triggering from him keeps me safe...if Krazeyivan joins he either uses a sorc or his LF zon for crowd control...

My fave team for Ubers has been Smiter + Hammerdin. Smiter takes out bosses and Din handles minions. We seemed to handle it fairly fast. I timed it once and we completed it in 1:32.

Wow i see everyone's picking smiter.
I used to do UT's and organs with 2 mates using 2 frenzybarbs and 1ele/summoner druid. Because of the massive amount of life (bo+oak) we were never close to deeds and the druid went on burning the surrounding minions to ashes. The barbs could also tank the fire from the minions very well even without life tap on.

heh, I do it with a barb and my crushing blow kick assassin. She keeps everything on screen life tapped and can bring down the über 3 in seconds.

i solo ubers with 3 cdkeys. i have singer, hdin and smiter all in same game.. singer just there to bo both hdin and smiter. hdin makes tp's teles to boss for organ clears area of anything dangerous like IM then goes to town. smiter goes through kills gets organ. after all 3 smiter goes into trist kills the 3 there. goes to town. hdin comes clears excess minions and one of them grabs the torch. probably be faster if i wasnt the one on all 3 chars but it gets the job done and i dont have to split the earnings if i dont want to ;P ive been known to give a few torches away tho

Would a fishymancer and a frenzyer(BO and CB. Maybe using Oath, stormlash, gore,loh) do it safe? Only reason i'm considering frenzyer instead of normal zealot is that a friend claims that frenzyers suck in 1.11 (he loved d2 before 1.10 which ruined his singleplayer frenzyer)

Just to be on topic, for safest, unless you have nice gear, I prefer a Summoner, Smiter, and some source of BO.

Summoner has the curses, and minions to help take the heat off of you. He can clear out Furnace if IM is around, and is just helpful. Smiter does the part of killing the Mini's, and BO, well, more life is always good.

A frenzy Barb is a good choice, just so long as you are a high level and have good AR to hit them. The problem is counteracting Mephy's -125 to res, since you don't even get a shield with Frenzy, let alone a 100+ res one like a Paladin can get. It can be tricky to get max res, and while Fade can help with 60, thats still 65 for to make up.

We will be doing it with a zealot and a necro. Had a crazy idea to try things with a convict pally and a fully synergized fury though..hmm

I love having a singer a long. It's the best support character IMO for the ubers.
