no dual-wield?

I just started this game and I was wondering if theres no dual-wield at all or do we get it after meeting some requirements?

Only barbs can dual wield stuff, including bigger swords.

The assasin can dual wield her claws as well, but only claws, she cant dual wield any other type of weapons.

Hi,

These characters can dual weld...but do need to acquire the skills to do so....so in a way there are prerequirements. Check the skill trees to find the skills.

For barbs there are not any prereqs to dual wield. A level 1 barb can carry two weapons

Same for assassins, actually. Though dual wielding without taking advantage of it is pointless.

Basically to sum it all up in one post:

Barbarians can dual wield any 2 one handed weapons from the beginning of the game.

Assassins can wield any 2 assassin-only claw weapons also from the beginning of the game...

And I guess rswt is on something. :shocked::laugh:

And a paladin can use his shield as a weapon with the smite skill. So in a sense also dual wield.
