maybe you spawned him somewere but didn't see him.

Since he didn't spawn at Thresh I'm guessing you accidentally spawned him somewhere else. This could happen easily if you were running all over the place looking for him.

You did not create the game. You entered someone else's game where they already killed Dclone. The message "Diablo walks the Earth." Will keep appearing everytime anybody enters that game, regardless of whether or not Dclone is dead.

edit: try walking to where Treehead Woodfist is. This is a decent place to spawn him because the tree on the map will mark the location. If he does not spawn there he is either dead or spawned some where else (retrace your steps).

I did create the game though. i was in river.... then i went to frigid... nothing happend. then pindle.. weird.. this is the second time i'll miss him then :(

sorry i jsut got to school and cant access the online games from here; or else id haeve him found in a couepl of minutes. if you have a tele sorc they work best at locating; jstu tele aroudn till you find him; then note where he is and bring in the heavy hitter

If you created the game, on hell, and the message appeared, It has to be alive. Did you search in stony field?

If you were afk at any time, someone might have entered and killed him and left before you could see him.
